Alessandra graduated in architecture at the Politecnico di Milano in 2000 and began her career with the Firm ArkPabi in Cremona, worling at the last construction phases of the Hotel Delle Arti in Cremona. After the completion of that project Alessandra moved to Milan to work on the detailed design of two office towers located in Lorenteggio, in collaboration with the architecture studio FZ Milan. In 2003 she moved to London where she worked at the company Benoy Ltd. which dealt with the development plan of the largest shopping center in London, designed by Ian Ritchie Architects: White City shopping center located in West London. Upon returning to Italy she began working with the Company Progetto CMR in Milan, designing the interior of a 5 Star Hotel (500 Rooms, 4 Restaurants, a SPA, 2 Ballrooms) in Tianjin (China): a very large hotel that give birth to a passion for rich and complicated projects involving a large number of consultants and designers. She also dealt with various other projects for the Chinese market: the Interior Design of a University in Tianjin (Building 25), designing a sales showroom for new apartments in the neighborhood of Sixth Avenue and various interior design projects for private Chinese clients. She worked on an interior study for the new ENI buildings in San Donato, ENI of historic buildings in Rome (the euro) and in the historic ‘Metanopoli’ Headquartier in Milan. In March of 2006 she began work on the Armani Hotel in Via Manzoni, Milan, dealing with the design of the building and coordinating the various consultants. She continued this work after transferring to newly established Lombardini 22 studio in the 2007. Meanwhile she has also worked on various other projects: the feasibility of restructuring a 5 Star Hotel in the City Centre of Milan and other smaller projects such as the design for the renovation of a building in Corso Europa: an interesting architectural challenge with a building designed by the Italian architect Vico Magistretti. Recently her professional time at L22 has been completely dedicated to the intense last stages of construction of the Armani Hotel. |
